Marissa Mayer, Yahoo’s current CEO, unveiled two new features as part of the Digital Content NewFronts, in an effort to engage more advertisers on April 30, 2013.

According to the company’s Vice-President of Product and Media Mike Kerns the Yahoo new ads are a reverse side of the revamped front page that was launched in February. Kerns said that the main idea of the newly introduced formats were to raise investments into new advertising experiences.
