    Last week the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project published a report with the data about the makeup of the most popular social networking sites: LinkedIn, Facebook and Pinterest. Moreover, Pew discovered how many US adults post their photos online.

    There is a popular belief that particular social networking sites have its own audience. For example, there are stereotypes that the most part of LinkedIn user base consists of business people, while older Americans prefer to have account on Facebook rather than Twitter. It is also assumed that Pinterest was designed only for girls.
