Twitter integrates into Facebook such users’ data as usernames, photos, URL, mentions and hashtags in the cross-posted tweets.
According to the official Twitter information, the service has integrated more users’ information (names and hashtags) in the users’ tweets that will be posted on Facebook.
Earlier the microblogging social service has already offered its users to relay tweets into Facebook. But names and hashtags mentioned in such messages did not possess worthy information to Facebook users.
Now such information as user data, his / her account photo and link to his / her Twitter page is reflected within Twitter user name mention in relayed to Facebook messages. Within hashtag mention Facebook users will be able to follow the link and see other messages with the same mark on Twitter.
At the same time if there is a Twitter user name and hashtag within one message, the priority is given to user’s information.
Twitter designers have also changed the process of relayed photos posted by microblogs users. If earlier there was only a photo posted by user, now there is also a link to his / her Twitter photo-gallery.
For new Twitter functions activation one needs first deactivate Facebook account integration and then activate it again.
It is also worth mentioning that this week Twitter has changed its logo-bird, making its color darker and its graphics simpler. Instead of its familiar orientation to the right, a new Twitter logo is directed up and to the right that is the symbol of being ready and open for active development, so-called “ready to fly”. According to its creators, “flying up” bird will show the service freedom, hope and boundless possibilities.
Twitter users post more than 400 mln. tweets every day. The service has more than 200 mln. users all over the world and 2.2 mln. of which use Cyrillic languages (according to Yandex information).
