    Microsoft Going to Pay App Makers to Create Windows Phone Versions

The authors of the article pointed also at the fact that Microsoft’s strategy one more time highlights Google’s and Apple’s strong position. Neither Apple nor Google pay app makers. But at the same time it is stressed that the translation to Windows Phone is much more difficult process than creation of an iPhone app from Android one or inversely. The translation complicacy is conditioned by Windows Phone apps’ participation in the OS horizontal scrolling metaphor.
