Bit.ly popular URL shortening service and bookmarking tool has announced about “Realtime” service launch that shows the most popular links. Realtime service analyses made clicks on different social services and networks. It also gives an opportunity to view by topic, location, language, query and domain.
Realtime on rt.ly allows users to see what other people are currently clicking. Among one of the service biggest advantages is an ability to view what is going on different social networks and services (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, tumblr and ameblo) separately from each other.
Users are able not only search along social sites but also view what exactly articles have become the most popular and exactly on which services. So, Realtime service will allow to see, for example, that on LinkedIn social network the very article about Olympians relief from paying taxes has become the most popular and on Twitter service an article about coach X doing yoga during the game has become a top one.
Users are also able to add articles directly to bitmarks that is Bit.ly bookmarking system. Within the very click on blue icon next to the very link title, a user will be taken automatically to the links analytics page.
