  • You Can Tag Your Facebook Friends with Bing

    If you search for great hiking trails and want your friends to tag along or want your foodie-friend lend you some good ideas for your dinner party? The Bing team announces a new social feature - tagging your Facebook friends while sharing search results you’ve performed.

    As you remember, last month Bing launched a social sidebar that provides you with ideas and recommendations your social friends while you’re searching. Now, if you want share your search, you can just type your social friends' names and tag them. Bing Social Program Manager Kim Vlcek explained:

    “When searching on Bing, simply enter a question or comment in the sidebar and type the name of a friend on Facebook to tag him or her (you can tag up to five friends at a time).”
    After you approved, this question will be posted on your Facebook timeline and your tagged friends will get notifications so they can join and help you find, learn the thing you're looking for.
    Keep in mind, that you always have in hand the things you might decide to share through the sidebar. To see this in action, you can watch special video.
