New Advertising Banner From “VKontakte” Social Network
“VKontakte” social network will allow premium advertisers to allocate ad banners of new layout and with no neighboring ones.
“VKontakte” social network has announced about the launch of the advertising banner new layout for premium advertisers. New banner layout will be 90x160 pixels and will be allocated on the regular advertising place.
Among such new advertising banner layout advantages, it is worth mentioning that there will be no neighboring ad banner next to it. Advertising materials will be displayed alone. One of the most important drawbacks is that only premium advertisers will be able to buy such new ad banner. According to the social network representatives, such premium advertisers are representatives of limited companies among so-called “premium” segments, for example, car area. In order to receive an opportunity to allocate ad banner of the new layout, one needs to send a request to “VKontakte” social network administration.
Consequently, “VKontakte” starts separating not only users but also advertisers that in fact will allow the social network to increase its revenue from big brands advertising allocations.
