    Yandex Updated Search Prompts

    The search engine announced the launch of search prompts that keep in memory your previous query. As the developers declared, Yandex learned to understand, what information you want to know.

    According to Yandex, the updated functionality was tested and users liked this idea. And, as devices recorded, the quantity of clicks on prompts has increased, and time of inputting the query has decreased. But, as comments and responses on Yandex site say, users accepted such news equivocally.

    Let's try it on the following example: type the movie title «Back to the future». You found the interesting information about this movie and decided to continue your search. You type new query into search box and it begins with the letter "m" and in this case you are offered to learn about “Michael J. Fox” or about “Marty McFly”, and be sure, such popular responses as "maps" or "mobile" won't be shown to you. Plus recently Yandex has updated its Intent-based search program and Yandex's search suggestions service gives immediate answers to the frequently asked queries.
