    On Monday (July 16) Skype confirmed information about a system bug in the service software. As it has become known, this bug sends messages to wrong recipients. However, the company announced in its tweet that this problem has not affected many users. Skype representatives have also confirmed that they are aware of the very situation and try their best to eliminate the problem.



    Some users have informed about current situation on the site’s forum. According to this information, sent messages were received by other recipients from contacts list of affected users. For example, according to one Skype user, he had received messages from his friend that was in his service contacts list and then in some time these very messages were automatically resent to another person from his contact list. It is worth mentioning, that original sender and final, unintended recipient were in the same contacts list of affected service user.

    The Skype has reacted on the users’ messages on the company’s forum and promised to fix the problem with the help of updated service software version in the nearest future.
