    Updated Instagram 2.5 Version

    The first serious Instagram update after its acquisition by Facebook social network.

    Instagram on iPhone has just got its first serious update after having been bought by Facebook for more than $1 bln.

    Functionality of Instagram version 2.5 has not been changed but updated. “Explore” new tab has appeared instead of “Popular” tab with the photos, having received the most Like-clicks.

    Top-ranking snapshots have remained and can be found now under “Explore” tab. Still, Instagram app allows users to search, taking an advantage of usernames and hashtags. This update will make search process much easier, focusing on certain aspects such as, for example, specific sporting events, street art shorts, etc.

    Now photos, being marked in Instagram by Like-hearts will be automatically posted to those user’s Facebook accounts. Brand-page managers will be able to post directly to their Facebook network accounts without leaving Instagram.

    This very functionality is worthy. Earlier it was impossible not to notice Instagram app photo having three separate variants for Like-clicks: this very photo on Timeline on user’s Facebook page, the same photo after clicking through and the same one on Instagram. It will be good if Open Graph succeed in collecting all Like-clicks for an image in one place, increasing suddenly its popularity.

    It is also worth mentioning another feature of Instagram version 2.5 that will gladden those users who like to make photos and post them at the same time. Now it will be possible to do it within one click, tapping and holding the camera button.

    At the same time, one will notice certain speediness of the app new version comparing to the previous one that vividly illustrates the service tendency to be the fastest in everything.
