The complainant claims that «Yandex» uses false advertising slogan and the Russian IT-company has no rights to deceive its users.
On June 16, 2012 there was a report that the native of Ulyanovsk (Russia), journalist Denis Korkodinov sues the Russian IT-company Yandex. The appeal, claiming an offence against the advertising law, was put into court omitting Russian antimonopoly service. The preinterview at the suit is appointed on June 2th, 2012.
Denis Korkodinov decided to sue Yandex because of its advertising slogan Everything will be found. As he had assured that Google results were more relevant and complete because the filters of Russian search engine hinder sites' indexation (even the sites that keep within the Russian law).
The complainant demands Yandex to reject his advertising slogan in public and officially allow that his (Yandex) special filters restricts rights of Russian users: Yandex has no rights to deceive the users alleging that it can find everything!»
The Russian IT-company has not got a claim yet, and that is why its representatives refuse to comment on the situation.
